Each time I login, I receive the following message:
fopen(/var/www/familyconnections/logs/log_2018-01-31.txt): failed to open stream: Permission denied
I'm hesitant just to grant full (777) permissions without some verification of the problem. Can you advise?
Thanks in advance!

Does the logs directory exist? Maybe the problem is, it's trying to create that dir.
The real problem isn't that the log cannot be created. The real problem is that every time you login you get an error that fcms needs to log.
